Civil War reenactors of the 4th New Jersey firing muskets in formation with smoke.

Military

As a reenactment group, it is our job to accurately represent a Civil War Regiment. This is done through the use of period-correct tactics and drills. The unit will take the time to train you and supply you with loaner gear to the best of its ability when you start. You must be 16 or older to carry a rifle.

Children

While you do have to be 16 or older to carry a rifle, anyone younger can still be a part of the unit. There are a number of ways for children to get involved, whether through being a civilian, guidon, or musician, among others. We do ask for a parent to join for liability reasons.
